Espanol Crick 11"x14" Acylic on Lexan, Fly Cast Painting

Spanish Creek runs right through the middle of the Flying D ranch that is owned by Ted Turner. There is an easement that cuts through the property and this painting was made while looking off the bridge directly down on Spanish Creek. The only time to do this would be when the road has been blocked off for the winter and right before it opens for the spring. 100% made with a fly rod but one of the most intriguing things is the red and gold that dominated the lower part of the creek. This has an absolutely unique quality about it as a red, gold stream. A trout coursing through the waters was spotted on this day and it was a great day to be making a painting in Montana.
